A dark day

Tiredness presses it's dirty hands against my face
leaving charcoal smudge bruises
under my eyes
Heavy lids fighting against the pressure
to stay open
Heavy spirit, fighting against depression
to be happy
weighted down by worries
I move as if underwater
the world is gloomy, opressive, lonely
I try to laugh but only sigh
I try to smile but only cry
Fatigue has drained me
with it's vampire kiss
leaving behind only a shadow of me
you can barely see
on this dark dark day

Yes Sally I actually am. I am a huge fan of vampyres and pretty much all folklore surrounding them. Some of my interests since I have been very young are Fairytales, folklore, mythology and anything to do with Magic.

Vampyres are the most fascinating to me because they are the least mythical of all the mythical monsters. There is actually a disease that causes the victim to suffer from vampire like symptoms. These include allergy to sunlight and garlic. Symptoms also include tiredness and lethargy associated with iron deficiency. The only way to treat this condition is through regular blood transfusions.

I am a huge fan of Anne Rice too.

Yes you girls are awesome...The praise means a lot to me coming from such talented people. I love fairies and angels too. Anything to do with fantasy or magic. The real world is just too harsh sometimes you know? *HUGS* to sally g and shez for being so lovely and making me smile.

Wadey thanks for the visit and nice comments.
